Dorris "Sister" Cotham Parnell

Mrs. Dorris Ann "Sister" Cotham Parnell, 85, of Nashville, formerly of Linden passed away Saturday November 16, 2019 at the Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing. She was born in Linden to the late Bynum and Byron Whitwell Cotham. When her mother died at a young age, "Sister" was raised by stepmother, Ethel Kimble Cotham. Dorris was married to Don Parnell and worked for many years as a secretary for Kano Laboratories in Nashville. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Don, a son Daryl, a sister Dorothy Dean Anderson and brother James Cotham. Survivors include her son Barry Parnell, a sister Margaret Landers, sister-in-law Linda Cotham and several nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family members and friends.
