Mr. J.B. Hinson, 85, of Englewood, Florida, formerly of Lobelville, passed away Friday September 8, 2017 at Englewood Community Hospital in Englewood, FL. He was born in Lobelville to the late Willie Hinson and Addie Wilburn Hinson. He had been a resident of Sarasota County for over thirty years and was a superintendent for General Motors for twenty-plus years. Upon retiring, he became a self-employed residential contractor, retiring in Englewood. J.B. was known for the many friends he made and his sense of humor. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife Mildred Evelyn Hinson. Survivors include his daughters P. Diane (Tom) Shirley of Englewood, FL. and Mildred Arleen (David) Simms of Lobelville; a son Dennis Dell Hinson of Lobelville; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, brothers James Hinson of Lobelville, Billy Wayne Hinson of Michigan and Willie B. Hinson of Linden and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
