Jean Treadwell

Mrs. Jean Talley Treadwell, 72, of Linden passed away Thursday October 24, 2019 at Perry Community Hospital. She was born in Linden to the late Burnette Talley and Lissie Hensley Talley. She graduated from Perry County High School Class of 1965 and was a member of the Linden Church of God. She had worked at Bates, LLC, was a baby sitter,and retired from Perry County Schools, where she worked as a Janitor. She last worked as Manager of the Community Clothing Closet, for which she founded, at the Linden Church of God. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by a son Terry Treadwell, sisters Hessie Parnell, Mildred Tinnin and Nima Talley, brothers Dutch Talley, Enos Talley and Leslie Talley. Survivors include her husband Robert Treadwell, sons Eric Treadwell of Linden, Shane (Christy) Talley of Clifton, Robbie (Paula) Treadwell of Linden, a daughter Tammy (Johnny) Mitchell of Columbia, 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, sisters Louretta (Walton) Holder and Sylvia Hensley, a brother Don Rex Talley all of Linden and a host of other loving family members and many, many friends.
