Jo Ann Carroll

Mrs. Jo Ann Ward Carroll, 76, of Linden passed away Monday April 2, 2018 at Decatur County Health and Rehabilitation Center from a long battle with heart disease.. She was born in Hohenwald to the late Wess Ward and Edith Ward. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. She was retired from Johnson Controls/Team Linden and a life long member of Whitwell Chapel Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by a sister Janet Ward. Survivors include her husband of 59 years Paul Carroll, a daughter Rhonda (Tom Ed) Young of Perrryville,  sons Jimmy and Steve Carroll of Linden, grandchildren Thomas Matthew (Ashley Smith) of Parsons and Chloe Carroll of Linden, great-grandchildren Brycen McCollum and Harper Young, a brother Thomas (Rendia) Ward of Linden, a nephew Wess (Lindsey) Ward of Linden, a great niece Dellarose Ward of Parsons. She will forever be missed by her friends and family as she will always be remembered as a hardworking, loving Christian lady and mother.
