Albert Lee Story, 74, of Linden, sang high praises when he waltzed into Heaven with his passing on Wednesday March 20, 2019. He was born on Friday, October 27, 1944 to the late Evie Estella Andrews Story and James David Story, at their home in Wayne County, Tn. Lee worked as a meter reader for MLEC for 15 years before reading meters for the Town of Linden beginning in 2007. Prior to this he worked on offshore oil rigs. On June 15, 1990, he married Brenda Rogers in Columbia, Tn. They have enjoyed many happy years together. Lee gave his life to the Lord and received the infilling of the Holy Ghost on March 28, 1993, and was baptized in Jesus' Name on April 4, 1993. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a son Robert Story and brothers Alfred and James Thomas Story. Survivors include his wife Brenda Story, daughters Barb (Stan) Keener of St. Joseph, Tn., Stacie (Bryan) Ray of Lawrenceburg, Tn. and Vawneda (Jason) Bates of Lobelville, a son Kevin Story of Lawrenceburg, two dear nephews Miles and Gunter Baker of Linden whom he loved as his own children, a brother James Palford (Marlynn) Story of Noblesville, IN, a sister Peggy (Al) Flatt of Columbia, Tn, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren all of whom were loved deeply.In lieu of flowers donations are requested to The Building Fund of The Sanctuary First United Pentecostal Church, Hohenwald, Tn.
