Martha "Ruth" Coleman Ward

Mrs. Martha "Ruth" Coleman Ward, 93, of Clearwater, Florida, formerly of Parsons, Tn.  passed away Tuesday March 27 at Suncoast Hospice Center in Florida. She was born in Perry County to the late William Samuel Coleman and Sallie Lomax Coleman. She was a member of the Linden Primitive Baptist Church, she was dedicated to her family, was a wonderful cook, loved raising flowers, quilting and crocheting. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Fred E. Ward, to whom she was married to for 51 years, sisters Irma Churchwell, Wilma Moore Stephens, Mildred Ledbettter and brothers Leon, Clyce and Hershel Coleman. Survivors include her daughter Melinda Ward Sutton and son-in-law Dwayne Sutton of Clearwater, Florida and a host of other loving nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as long time family friends.
