Tex Smith

Mr. Tex Nelson Smith, 76, of Linden passed away Saturday November 17, 2018 at Perry Community Hospital. He was born in Linden to the late Luther Brown Smith and Lydia Amanda Broadway Smith. He was a member of the Linden United Methodist Church. He was owner of Smith Pharmacy, a Mason, a Shriner, an alderman for the City of Linden for over 40 years and a member of the Perry County Rescue Squad. Survivors include his wife Patsy Smith, a daughter Mary Ann (David) Kelch, a son Gabriel Smith, a granddaughter Isabella Smith, a sister Shirley (Harry) Mathenia, a brother Mike (Gail) Smith and a host of other loving family members and many, many friends.
