Angelle Pennell Foust

Ms. Angelle Pennell Foust, 84, of Linden, formerly of Taylorsville, NC., passed away Monday November 6, 2023 at Westwood Health and Rehab Center in Decaturville. 

Ms. Foust was born in North Carolina to the late Byrd Rufus Pennell and Amy Cecil White Pennell. She was inducted into the Alexander County Sports Hall of Fame in November of 2014 for her achievements playing Basketball.

After moving to Tennessee, Angelle worked as a secretary for husband's Construction Company. She also worked as a line worker for Johnson Controls in Linden, Tn. and as a desk clerk at the Best Western Motel in Hurricane Mills, TN. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her dog Ginger. She loved spending time wit her children and granddaughter the most.

In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Albert Allen Foust, a son Ted Marshall Reiter, Jr., a sister Gaynell Pennell and brothers Herman, Bill and Garrell Pennell.

Survivors include her children Kim (Greg) Strickland of Linden, TN., Patricia (Ron) Anderson of FL., Deb (John) Watson of PA., Steven (Debbie) Foust of FL., and Roger Foust of IN., granddaughter Alyssa Strickland, several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving family members and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday November 11, 2023 in the chapel of Adams Funeral Home in Taylorsville, NC. Interment will follow services at the Dover Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 P.M.
