Azilee Johnson Vaughn

Ms. Azilee Tubbs Vaughn, 95, of Linden, passed away at her home Nov. 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.  She was retired after working at Johnson Controls.  She was a Life Member of the AME Women's Missionary Society and she served on the Robert's Chapel AME usher board.

In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her grandmother Minnie Scott (Ma'am), daughter Velma Coleman, son Floyd Tubbs, Sr. and sister Georgia Webster.  Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Andy Vaughn; sons Lawrence (Betty) Tubbs of Jackson, Leroy Tubbs of Linden, Bobby ( Carmencita ) Tubbs, of Dickson; daughters Agnes (Luther) Jones of Linden, and Marilyn Tubbs, of Athens, Alabama; son in love Arthur Coleman of Waverly, TN; daughter in love Alice Tubbs of Hohenwald, TN; 19 Grandchildren and a host of Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren;  also nieces and nephews and many other loving family members and many friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday Nov. 29, 2024, at Young Funeral Home, at 1 PM. Interment will follow services at the Dr. O.A. Kirk Cemetery in Linden.
