Becky Fritchie

Mrs. Donna Rebecca "Becky" Banks Fritchie, 68, of Linden, passed away Tuesday December 13, 2022  at her home. She was born in Lawrence County, Illinois to the late Harley Melford Banks and Barbara Jean Axton Banks. She married David Lloyd Fritchie, Sr. on January 19, 1973. Becky worked at United Methodist Church Day Care in Lawrenceville, ILL. while in High School. She also worked at Roadmaster, a bike factory as a welder, on the frame work. She spent years taking care of others children along with her 4 children. Becky worked at Hickory Estates, working with the mentally developed and disabled facility, teaching adults life skills, to be able to live on there own. Becky was an avid book reader, with Diana Palmer and Christine Feelan being her favorite writers. She enjoyed quilting, her flower garden and her flowering trees but definitely had a dislike for snakes anywhere near her. 

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a sister Connie Sue Mays and a brother Harley Wayne Banks.

Survivors include her husband David Fritchie, Sr., her children Denise Renea Baker, Davida Larissa Wallace, Allen Jeremiah "Jay" (Margie) Fritchie all of Linden, David Lloyd Fritchie, Jr. of Lawrence County, ILL., siblings Kenneth Lester Banks, John Curtis Banks and Tracy Neal Banks all of Illinois, Ada Elaine Gravett of Washington, Alice Jean Williams of New Mexico, Linda Sherry Knox of Illinois and Leota Mae Boone of Washington, grandchildren Colton Wade Baker, Dalton Bradley Baker, Dylon Thomas James Baker, Briana Lee (Haley) Fritchie, Michael Anthony LaFromboise, Dakota James Arles, Andrew Traeece, Rebecca Mariss Shyann (Davis) Fritchie, Randi Marie Shea Fritchie, Kaleb Cole Spencer, Tori Madison (Mitchell) Himes and Keenan Travis Himes, great-grandchildren Brooklyn Elizabeth Davis, Aalyiah Rae Davis, River Ben Haley, Trinity Marie-lee LaFromboise, Caden James Arles, Lillan Fae Arles, Camden Ray Arles, Carter Anderson Arles, Creed Traeece, Carter Traeece, Brantley Traeece, Aiden James Spencer, Morgan Spencer, Lucas Jaden Spencer, Zane Elijah Mitchell, Londyn Kate Mitchell, Mayzie Grace Mitchell, Novalee Himes and Kaison Travis Himes and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
