Betty Jean Ozment

Ms. Betty Jean Ozment, 84, of Linden passed away Sunday August 2, 2020 at Perry Community Hospital. She was born in Nashville to the late Joe Belcher and Thelma Belcher. She was a retired switchboard operator from McKendree Manor in Hermitage, Tn. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband James Burton Ozment and a son James Steven Ozment.

Survivors include her daughters Cheryl Ozment Earps of Gordonsville, Tn and Tammy Ozment of Madison, Tn., a daughter-in-law Tina Ozment of Lobelville, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, a brother Jerry (Jane) Belcher of Lebanon, Tn and a host of other loving family members and many friends.

The family has chosen cremation at this time with private memorial services at a later date.
