Betty Jo Marrs Long

Ms. Betty Jo Marrs Long, 86, of Lobelville, passed away Tuesday September 5, 2023 at her home. She was born in Waverly to the late Guy Marrs and Lorene Heath Marrs. Ms. Betty Jo was a Homemaker and enjoyed raising flowers, cooking for her family and shopping. She was a member of the Tom's Creek Baptist Church and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband J.N. "Pete" Long, son-in-law Jimmy Jackson, brother John L. Marrs and sister-in-law Marie Marrs.

Survivors include her children Dennis (Sheila) Long, Jill (Rob) Bailey and Jna Jackson all of Lobelville, grandchildren Josh Long, Casey (John McEwen) Long, Kala (Chad) Qualls, Jackson (Lauren) Bailey and Alex (Lexie) Bailey, great-grandchildren Garrett Qualls, Brooks Bailey, Livi Kate Bailey and Walker Qualls and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
