Betty Lomax Haynes

Ms. Betty Marie Lomax Haynes, 86, of Clifton/Linden, passed away Thursday July 25, 2024 at Wayne County Health and Rehab in Waynesboro. She was born in Linden to the late Barney Lomax and Cletus Davis Lomax. She was retired from Angelica Corporation where she worked as an Inspector. She enjoyed sewing and watching soap opera's on TV. 

In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Jim Tom Haynes, a son Danny Haynes, a grandson Cody Hayes, a sister Dorothy Walker and J.E. Lomax.

Survivors include her daughter Debbie (Johnny) Blackburn of Clifton, grandsons Jason (Heather) Hinson of Clifton and Nicholas Hayes of Pleasantville, 6 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, a sister Edna (L.G.) Pigg of Clifton, a brother Daniel (Martha) Lomax of Trenton and a host of other loving family members and many friends.

The family has chosen cremation with no services at this time.
