Bettye Tiller Tucker

Ms. Bettye Tiller Tucker, 93, of Linden passed away Monday October 23, 2023 at her home. She was born in Giles County to the late Floyd William Tiller and Margaret Lillian Patterson Tiller. Ms. Bettye was a 1948 graduate of Hickman County High School and moved from Hickman County in 1948 to Linden to help run Tiller Furniture Company where she was one of the co-owners. She also worked for the Linden Apparel Corporation in the Payroll Department. She was a member of the Linden First Baptist Church. She was also a loving caregiver to her son for many years and loved her family dearly.

In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband James "Jim" Tucker, and brothers Mac, Billy and Bobby.

Survivors include her children Pam Tucker of Harker Heights, TX, Lisa Tucker of Linden and Ted Tucker of Columbia, grandchildren Bethaney Dabbs and Jamey Dabbs, great-grandchildren Tucker Dabbs and Lillibeth Bates, sister-in-laws Jessie Ruth Tiller of Linden and Marijon Tucker of Waverly and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
