Mr. Billy Frank Tucker, 91, of Linden passed away Sunday November 28, 2021 at his home. He was born in Linden to the late Andrew Franklin Tucker and Vera Jane Cotham Tucker. He was a United States Navy veteran. Billy received his BS degree from UT Martin and his Masters degree from the University of Georgia. He was also Perry County Executive for several years, a member of the Sons of Revolution. He was a member of the Linden Church of Christ and a Sunday School teacher for many years. He was an avid Perry County Historian, a mentor, coach for many and a board game enthusiast. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a brother James "Jim" Tucker.
Survivors include his wife Sue Gilbert Tucker, his children Kenny (Janice) Tucker, Cindy Tucker (James) Anderson, Andy (Shirlene) Tucker, grandchildren Christopher (Amy) Tucker, Blake Tucker, Tucker (Sara) Anderson, Connor (Jessica) Anderson, McKenzie Anderson, Jacey (Robbie) Sciler, Jacob Tucker, Jessa (Alex) Woods, step-grandchildren Amber (Dustin) Gibson and Abby Donegan, loved by 12 great-grandchildren and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
