Mr. Billy Joe Hunnicut, 79, of Linden, passed away December 8, 2023 at his home surrounded by all his loving family. Billy Joe was born to the late Ross and Hessie Trull Broadway. He was a graduate of Perry County High School, Class of 1963. He was a United States Air Force Veteran, having enlisted and served 8 years in the Air Force and spent 20 years in the Army National Guard. He retired from the State of Tennessee after 20 years of being a Counselor at Turney Center in Centerville, Tn. He was an active member of the local Vietnam Veterans Association- Chapter 1123 in Linden.
In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a brother Jerry Wayne Broadway and a son-in-law Mickey Moore.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years Wylodean Richardson, daughters Kim (Billy) Motes of Trenton and Keri (Steven) Nuss of Linden, a sister June (Jerry) Ray of Linden, a brother Jeff (Norma) Broadway of Linden, a sister-in-law Barbara Broadway of Linden, grandchildren Eason and Jakob Moore, Joseph Nuss and Raylee Motes, a special couple George (Sherry) Lineberry who he thought of as family, several loving nieces and nephews that he loved with all his heart and a host of other loving family members and many, many friends.
