Mrs. Bliss Carolyn Greenwood Garcia, 87, of Linden, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at TriStar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. A funeral service will be held this Saturday, February 14, 2026, 2:00 p.m., in Young Funeral Home chapel. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 a.m. Private interment will be at Greenwood-Garcia Cemetery on Sinking Creek. She was born in California, the daughter of the late Vernon Woodrow and Lois Margaret Hodges Greenwood. She was a retired Perry County Administrator of Elections.
Survivors include her husband of seventy years, William Frank “Bill” Garcia; five children, Gregory (Kim Belmont) Garcia of Hohenwald, Randy Garcia and Lynda (Randy) Mackin, of Linden, Elizabeth “Betsy” (Randy) Cagle of Nunnelly, and Jeffory Garcia of Linden; seven grandchildren, Steven, Brandon (Meredith), and Briana Garcia, Dylan (Bethany), Hadley, and Joseph (Brittany) Mackin, and Letisha (Nick) Bates; two step-grandchildren, Gwen Cagle and DeAnthony; seven great grandchildren, G.G., Ella, and Aurora Garcia, Lee and Mary Ada Mackin, Eric Moore, and Logan Bates; and three step-great grandchildren, Haleigh Hall, Evelyn Hall, and Wendy Lawrence.
