Mr. Cyle Edward McCaffery, 82, of Lobelville, Tn., passed away peacefully at TriStar Horizon Medical Center on July 21, 2025. He was born in Montpelier, Indiana on January 16, 1943 to the late Sherman W. McCaffery and Anna D. Gibson.
Cyle served in the United States Air Force from July 29, 1960 until July 1964. From July 1964 until 1966, he was in the United States Air Force Reserve. He retired from Reliable Products in Lobelville, Tn.
His favorite pass times were fishing, watching Nascar, Vanderbilt Commodore football, baseball and basketball. He loved watching the grandkids and great-grands.
In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a beautiful daughter Rhonda McCaffery Wilsdorf, brothers George, Bill, Dan, and Paul McCaffery, sisters Sue Powers, Mary Joan Tucker and Margaret Phillips.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Frankie Burcham McCaffery, a son Blaine (Angie) McCaffery of, a daughter Melissa (Renny) Dabbs. Grandchildren Kayley (Jerrod) Rogers, Dominic (Rayvan) Wilsdorf, Destiney (Brent) Hicks, Kade Dabbs, Sydney Wilsdorf, Candis McCaffery and Chayselyn Dabbs, great-grandchildren Ean and Everly Rogers, Dexter Wilsdorf, Remington and Paisley Hicks, two special young ladies Addison and Brilee Mackin, a sister Diana Hare, brothers Tim (Debbie) McCaffery and John McCaffery, sister-in-laws Nancy McCaffery, Jeannie Bennett, Juanita Burcham, Beverly (Bobby) Mackin, brother-in-laws Vernon (Patsy) Burcham and Charles (Danell) Burcham, special friends Delbert Sanders and Bobby Mackin and a host of loving nieces, nephews and many friends.
Cremation has been chosen and memorial services will be held at a later date.
