Cynthia Edney Nix

Mrs. Cynthia Edney Nix, 77, of Lobelville, passed away Saturday February 14, 2026 at Jackson-Madison County Hospital. She was born in Waverly to the late Austin Ray Edney and Golden Mae Bates Edney. Cynthia was retired from Fisher&Co./Team Linden. She enjoyed going fishing with her husband, watching her granddaughter Claire play basketball and she loved riding the lawnmower mowing the yard. She loved spending time with all her family. 

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son Jonathan David Nix and her sister Jane Hickerson.

Survivors include her husband Larry Nix, daughters Michelle Bell, Tiffany (Jamie) Richardson, both of Linden and Amanda (Jason) Staggs of Lobelville, grandchildren Dylan Adkins, Kelsey (Matt) Marrs and Claire Richardson, great-grandchildren Izabella, Nora and Luke Marrs and Aulora Adkins and a host of other loving nieces, nephews and many friends.
