Doss "Junior" Spencer, Jr.

Mr. Doss "Junior" Lee Spencer, Jr., 95, of Lobelville, passed away Wednesday June 30, 2021 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. He was born in Lobelville to the late Doss Lee Spencer, Sr. and Ruby Shannon Spencer. He was retired from Tennessee Gas Pipeline where he worked as a Carpenter. He was a member and deacon of the Lobelville First Baptist Church. He enjoyed woodworking, riding motorcycles and was a pilot who enjoyed flying his own airplane. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife of 77 years Jeanette Spencer, a son Jimmy Spencer, son-in-law F. P. Spencer, a sister Ruth Peterson and brothers Shannon and Billy Spencer.  

Survivors include his daughter Betty Sharpe, a son Gary (Sherry) Spencer both of Lobelville, grandchildren Kenny Sharpe, Jeremy Spencer and Jennifer Emory, great-grandchildren Holly Hollingshead, Tyler Spencer, Spencer Emory, Ryder Averett and Jerzey Averett, 4 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
