Eugene Childress

Mr. Eugene Childress, 73, of Linden passed away Monday January 10, 2022 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. He was born in English, West Virginia to the late Bozier Hatton Childress and Ida May Childress. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. He was owner/operator of Complete Automotive in Pineview for 47 years. Eugene went to work at Ford Motor Company in Michigan when he got out of the Service. He had also worked at Perry Chevrolet Body Shop for several years. He was a member of Leap of Faith Church in Parsons. Eugene working on the farm, fishing, hunting, working on cars and trucks and enjoyed laughing and playing jokes. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his brothers William Howard, Fred and Bobo and a nephew Joe Bowman.

Survivors include his sister-in-law Louise Childress of Linden, a niece Gloria (Scott) Ashworth of Pella, Iowa, nephews Greg (Amanda) Childress of Linden, Michael (Kim) Childress of Manchester, Donald (Sylvia) Bowman of Lansing, Michigan and William (Alice) Bowman of Waterford, Michigan, 9 great nieces and nephews, 1 great-great-niece and a host of other loving family members and many, many friends.
