Mr. Ferrel Brown Culp, 94, of Clifton, passed away Thursday July 16, 2020 at Perry Community Hospital. He was born in Linden to the late Grady Bryan Culp and Fronia Middleton Culp. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in the US Army 82nd Airborne Paratroopers. He retired from the United States Postal Service as mail carrier, having worked for 38 years. He was a life long farmer, loved gardening, his pets, visiting his neighbors and riding his four-wheeler. Most importantly he loved his family. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife Genova Moore Culp, great-granddaughter Sierra Lynn, a sister Newell Burcham and a brother Floyd Culp.
Survivors include his children Janet (Alton) Marshall of Linden, Delaine (Lindy) Hester of Lobelville, Gary (Sheila) Culp and Eric (Donna) Culp both of Clifton, 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, a sister Evia Morrison of Clifton and a host of other loving family members and many, many friends.
While visiting or attending services for Mr. Ferrel Culp, please consider the following guidelines:
* Maintain 6 feet between yourself and the next closest person;
* Refrain from hugs and handshakes;
* When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth;
* Wash your hands often;
* Avoid touching your face; and
* Minimize time spent in places where people gather.
