Ms. Florine Roberts Graves, 80, of Linden, passed away at her home November 30, 2025. She was born February 28, 1945, in Linden, to the late Albert and Emma Roberts. She was a loving, devoted wife and mother. She was married to her late husband Mr. Billy Graves for nearly 29 years. They made their home on Rockhouse Creek. She was known as a hard worker her whole life and was a dedicated employee. She operated a sewing machine at Linden Apparel for several years. Then she went to work for a total of 37 years, at Linden Products, then Johnson Controls, then Fisher & Co. She had other part time jobs after retirement and maintained her own yard and always kept up a large garden. She always took alot of pride in her home and yard. Her greatest joy came when she had two grandchildren and then her great grandchildren. "Granny" was her favorite title of all ! She cooked Sunday dinner most weeks and looked forward to her family coming and spending time with her.
Ms. Florine was a member of the Linden Church of Christ and also attended Warren - Rockhouse Community Church.
In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by two brothers, George and Jim Roberts; five sisters Ruth Pitts, Lucille Lassiter, Dorothy Jean Moore, Ruby Vinay, and Mary Gardner. Survivors include her daughter Debbie (Ricky) Wheat, her son Stevie Graves, grandsons Bart ( Alycia ) Rosson, and Brad Rosson. Five great grandchildren, Kaylee, Levi, Shaycie, Adelyn and Brantley Rosson; one sister Margie ( Jerry ) Barber, and one brother Billy Jo Roberts. She will be greatly missed by many other family members and many close friends.
Visitation with Ms Graves family will take place Wednesday from 4 until 8 pm. Also on Thursday from 11 until 1pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday Dec. 4, 2025 at 1pm in the chapel of Young Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Dean Cemetery.
