Gerald "Zeke" Zemer

Mr. Gerald "Zeke" Walker Zemer, 84, of Linden passed away Monday March 21, 2022 at Henderson County Community Hospital. He was born in Illinois to the late C.B. Zemer and Eva Greer Zemer. He was a member of the Lobelville Seventh Avenue Baptist Church where is served as a Deacon. Gerald was a graduate of Parsons High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Mississippi State. He was retired from Johnson Controls/Team Linden, where he worked for 23 years as a Manufacturing Engineer. He was also owner/operator of Zemer engineering, where he helped anyone that wanted to learn about racing, engineering, welding and fabricating. He loved going to the races and helping in any way he could. Most importantly he loved his family the most.

Survivors include his wife Gwendolyn Breland Zemer, sons Mike (Jenny) Zemer of Lobelville, Mitchell (Allyson) Zemer of Columbia and Matt (Kelley) Zemer of Athens, Tn, grandchildren Calvin (Jill) Zemer, Tori (Edwin) DeGrella, Oliva Zemer, Cameron Zemer and Jack Zemer, great-grandchildren Eason and Charlotte Zemer and a host of other loving family members and many, many friends.
