Jacqueline Byars Owens

Ms. Jacqueline Byars Owens, 87, currently of Linden, passed away February 19, 2022, at Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly. Ms. Owens was born in Nashville, Tn. to the late Delphin Byars and Ruby Meador Byars. She was a graduate of East Nashville High School. After graduation she immediately went to work as a telephone operator for the old Southern Bell Telephone Company. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Rudolph Cole Owens (W.W.II U.S. Army Veteran).

Survivors include her son Phillip Owens of California, 2 granddaughters Nicole Owens of Linden, Tn. and Melissa Owens of Denver, Colorado, a sister Jewell Fink of Torrence, California, 2 brothers Charles Byars of Apple Valley, California and Leon Byars of Beechgrove, Indiana, 4 great-granchildren Ethan Urroz, Aubrey, Lynnlee and Cole Devrous and many other loving family members and friends.

After cremation Ms. Owens remains will be place beside her husband at Riverside National Veterans Cemetery, Riverside, California.
