James Francis Scott

James Francis Scott, 39, passed away October 22, 2023. He was born July 9, 1984 in Orlando, Florida to Stacy Scott and later granted custody to David and Marian Scott.  He moved to the Sarasota/Venice area in 2020 from Linden, Tennessee.

James had a career as a driver for the local waste management company. In his free time, he was a talented musician playing both guitar and piano.  He loved spending time with his children.

Left to cherish James’ memory are his children Aidan Scott (mother Missy), Amelia Scott (mother Crystal); biological mother, Stacy Scott; legal mother, Marian Scott Martin; grandmother Penelope Gillespie; and siblings Marisha Wolfenbarker and Samuel Scott as well as many other relatives and friends.

James was predeceased by his legal father, David Scott, and grandfather Kenneth Scott.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony to be held at the Linden Apostolic Church, 428 Hill Street, Linden, Tennessee on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 12 Noon.
