James Robert Stephens

Mr. James Robert Stephens, 71, of Linden passed away Saturday November 17, 2018 at Perry Community Hospital. He was born in Linden to the late James David Stephens and Lorene Patricia Jones Stephens. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in Vietnam and was very proud to be a veteran. He worked and retired from CSX Railroad of Michigan, as Yard Foreman. When he still had his sight he loved driving his super sport Chevy. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife Olga Stephens, a daughter Tina Lorene Stephens, sons Carlos Jesse,  Robert Allen Stephens and Brian Keith Stephens. Survivors include his sons Danial Stephens and James David Stephens both of Michigan, sisters Barbara Bower and Linda Alderson both of Linden, brothers William (Deanne) Stephens, Larnce Stephens and Bruce Stephens all of Linden, a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
