Ms. Janet Louise Cantrell Pevahouse 80, of Linden, TN., passed away Sunday January 26, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Janet was born in Hackleburg, AL. to the late William and Tressie Lee Vance Cantrell. She had three siblings; Jerry, William and Benjamin Cantrell.
Ms. Pevahouse was a longtime member of the Bethel Methodist Church. She was a lady of many talents from babysitting, working at Linden Apparel and Perry County Health Department. A special talent that she enjoyed was making quilt tops. She made several for her family and those she loved. Janet also loved reading and might sit up all night finishing a good book! After retiring she enjoyed babysitting for her granddaughters that she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Garry Pevahouse and a brother Benjamin Cantrell.
Survivors include her daughters Cynthia "Cindy" (Denny) Chandler and Susan (Bart) Greenway both of Parsons, grandchildren Megan (Drew) Warren, Ashlan Denton, Jonathan Chandler and Laken Greenway, great-grandchildren Dawson and Landon Chandler, Amelia Warren and Cannon Denton, brothers Jerry (Denise) Cantrell and William Cantrell, many nieces, nephews and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
