Ms. Aline Jean McCaig Clark, 80, of Lobelville, passed away Thursday April 16, 2026. She was born December 11, 1945 in Lobelville to the late Lester and Nelly Spencer McCaig.
Jean was a loving sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She worked at Red Cap when she was younger, but she also loved to craft. Even though she was battling cancer in her last days, she insisted that Carol take her thrifting after every treatment. Through all her life she faced many loses, battled so many hardships, but always showed true resilience.
In addition to her parents Jean is preceded in death by her husband James W. Clark, four brothers Franklin, Ewell, Ralph (Bubber) and Hillard, two sisters Linda Joan and Katherine Claudette and a granddaughter Shaina Brooke Trull.
She is survived by two daughters Susan Jenall Clark and Janice Carol Bates, three grandsons Kane Marshall, Colton and Clark Ewing, great-grandson Zaine Warren, five great-granddaughters Briley, Taylor, Trinity, Winter and Genesis Marshall, a sister Gayle (Ronnie) Aydelott and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
