Jeffery Paul Andrews, Sr.

Jeffery Paul Andrews Sr., a loving father, courageous serviceman, and kind-hearted individual, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2023, in Linden, Tennessee. Born on September 3, 1959, in Ohio, to James and Betty Andrews, Jeffery's life was filled with dedication, service, and love for his family and country.

Jeffery grew up with his brothers Tony, William, Jimmy, Johnny, and the late George Andrews. The bond he shared with his siblings was a testament to his unwavering love and loyalty, qualities that extended into every facet of his life. He was the proud father of Erin Andrews, Jeffery Paul Andrews Jr., and the late Matthew James Andrews. His love for his children was unmatched, as was the joy he derived from his cherished grandson, Waylon Scott.

Jeffery's life was characterized by his commitment to service, both to his family and his country. He proudly served as a United States Marine, displaying courage and patriotism that inspired everyone around him. After his tenure in the Marines, Jeffery devoted twenty years to Pike Electric, establishing a reputation for hard work and dedication.

A proud member of the Masons, Jeffery found joy in camaraderie and service to others. He was a man of principle and character, always ready to lend a hand to those in need.

Outside of his work and service, Jeffery was a man of many passions. He loved the thrill and freedom of riding motorcycles, often spending his free time exploring the open road. However, his greatest joy was spending time with his grandson, Waylon.

Jeffery's patriotism extended beyond his service in the Marines. He was deeply proud of his country and lived his life embodying the values of freedom and justice. His love for his country was infectious, inspiring those around him to appreciate the freedoms they often took for granted.

A celebration of Life memorial service will be held Friday November 10, 2023. Visitation will begin at 4:00 until the time of service of 6:00 pm at Young Funeral home.
