Jerry Broadway

Mr. Jerry Wayne Broadway, 74, of Linden, passed away Wednesday August 23, 2023 at his home. He was born in Linden to the late James Ross Broadway and Hessie Trull Broadway.  He was a Perry County High School graduate, Class of 1966 and received his Associates Degree from Freed-Hardeman University. He had last worked as a Supervisor at Johnson Controls/Fisher & Co. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and anything to do with the outdoors. Jerry also enjoyed baseball, basketball and softball, where he spent a lot of time with his children. He loved going to the beach, as he and his wife Barbara went twice a year by themselves and once in the summer with their children and grandchildren. He loved his family most of all and especially spending time with his grandchildren. 

Survivors include his wife of 54 years Barbara Redding Broadway, his children Chris (Tracy) Broadway of Linden, Nicole (Scott) Courtney of Decaturville, grandchildren Avery Broadway, Lincoln and Everett Courtney, a sister June (Jerry) Ray, brothers Joe (Wylodean) Hunnicut and Jeff (Norma) Broadway all of Linden and a host of other loving family members and many, many friends.
