Jerry Long

Mr. Jerry Long, 72, of Linden passed away Monday September 1, 2020 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville. He was born in Linden to the late Fernie Long and Virginia O'Guin Long. He was employed as a Supervisor for the Perry County Highway Department. Jerry graduated from Perry County High School Class of 1966.

Survivors include his wife June Tinin Long, his children Tammy (Scott) Hickok and Johnny (Tonya) Long both of Linden, grandchildren Justin Long, Dustin Long, Jeremy Hickok and Brandon (Emily) Hickok and a host of other loving family members and many, many friends.

While visiting or attending services for Mr. Jerry Long, please consider the following guidelines:

* Maintain 6 feet between yourself and the next closest person;
* Refrain from hugs and handshakes;
* When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth;
* Wash your hands often;
* Avoid touching your face; and
* Minimize time spent in places where people gather.

Under CDC guidance NO OUTSIDE FOOD may be brought to the funeral home.
