Mr. Joe Brown Vaughn, 81, of Nashville passed away Monday May 18, 2020 at his home. He was born in Linden to the late Katie Pearl Vaughn. He was a retired Security Guard for Miller Brewing Company in California where he worked for over 30 years. He graduated from Montgomery High School in Lexington, Tn Class of 1955. In addition to his mother he is also preceded in death by his wife Mildred Vaughn, a son Efrem Vaughn, brothers Billy Vaughn and Jimmy Vaughn. Survivors include his daughter Yulonda Tucker of Nashville, sons Dan Vaughn of Nashville, Timothy (Sheliah) Sanders of Powder Springs, Georgia, Joe Vaughn, Jr. of Nashville and Cordell Vaughn of Pikeville, 24 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, Charles Vaughn of California and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
While visiting or attending services for Mr. Joe Brown Vaughn, please consider the following guidelines:
* Maintain 6 feet between yourself and the next closest person;
* Refrain from hugs and handshakes;
* When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth;
* Wash your hands often;
* Avoid touching your face; and
* Minimize time spent in places where people gather.
