Joe T. Dunn

Mr. Joe T. Dunn, 81, of Linden, passed away Tuesday October 29, 2024 at his home. He was born in Perry County to the late Leslie "Buddy" Johnson Dunn and Maude Estalle Qualls. He was a retired city worker from the Town of Linden. Joe had also worked at several other places including Rose's Chevrolet, Aluminum Plant in Waverly, Meat cutter at Hickerson's Grocery, Wood-Breeding Lumber Company, Washington Dee Cee and  L & W Hardware. He enjoyed fishing, tending to his chickens, playing softball in his younger days, but especially working on lawn mowers.  

In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife Ann Miller Dunn, a sister Mary Dunn, brothers Gene, Jerry and Junior Dunn.

Survivors include his children Tammy Dunn of Linden, Jackie Whitt Baker of Linden, Jimmy (Kathy) Whitt of Linden and Johnny (Barbara) Whitt of Mt. Pleasant, grandchildren Ashley Ayers, Danielle (Brandon) Clark, Daniel Qualls, Mindy Whitt Haynes, John (Amber) Whitt and Seth Whitt, 9 great-grandchildren and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
