Ms. Joy Graves Arnold, 80, of Lobelville, passed away December 24, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Linden to the late Adam and Ruth Kittrell Graves. Funeral services will be held 2 PM on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the First Baptist Church in Lobelville. Rev. Ronnie Brewer will officiate the services. Interment will follow in the Leeper Cemetery.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Otis Sonny "Lightning" Arnold, and her grandson, Blake Arnold. Joy loved taking care of her grandchildren and spending time with family members. She worked for a period of time in the office at Kolpak. Most people remember her many years spent as "Head Teller" at the Bank of Perry County in Lobelville.
Survivors include her two sons, David Arnold and Jeff (Carla) Arnold; granddaughter, Emily Arnold-Cobb; great-grandson, Kyler, and great-granddaughter, Kora Jayne; and one brother, James (JoAnn) Graves. She will be missed by many other family members and friends.
