June O’Dell Crabtree Hinson, age 95, of Lobelville, Tennessee, passed away on December 17, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in South Webster, Ohio, to the late Earl Emery Crabtree and Sylvia O’Dell Crabtree. June was a graduate of Bloom Township School.
June loved traveling the pipeline with her husband and cherished seeing new places along the way. After retiring, she continued her strong work ethic through various service industry positions, including The Dinner Bell, Food Giant, Jack’s Kitchen, and as a Foster Grandmother with Head Start. She also owned and operated a successful Avon business for 15 years, taking great pride in her work and genuinely loving her customers.
In her quieter moments, June enjoyed sewing and quilting, crocheting, and reading. She was known for her generous heart, kindness, and willingness to help others.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Harvey Hinson, and a great-grandson, Kanon Heath Hinson, Jr.
She leaves behind her favorite child, Sweet Pea, her devoted and beloved border collie.
June is survived by her other children:
Tonita (Nick) Walters of Lenoir City, Tennessee; Kay Cotham of Lobelville, Tennessee; Kiluah (Noah) Poe of Mount Juliet, Tennessee; Cindy Casrill of Lobelville, Tennessee and Reynolds Casrill of Linden, Tennessee.
She is also survived by her grandchildren:
Terry (Jonya) DePriest, Angel (Dan) Knorr, Savannah (Drew) Roseman, Kanon (Diana) Hinson, Fawn Wilson, Kadin Hinson, Sierra (Jared) Horner, Alex (Hailee) Poe, Joey Poe, Gwen Poe, Wynter Casrill, Skylen Casrill, and Trace Casrill; along with 18 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
June will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
