Ms. Kathleen Wyatt Ayers, 102, of Linden passed away Monday March 21, 2022 at Decatur County Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Bath Springs, Tn. to the late David Chesley Wyatt and Maggie Britt Wyatt. She was a Bookkeeper for 37 years working for Condor Chevrolet, W.L. Chevrolet and Perry Chevrolet. When she first went to work for Condor Chevrolet they gave her her first car so she wouldn't have to ride the bus to work. Ms. Kathleen was a member of the Linden First Christian Church. She was a Past President of the Linden Chapter of the American Heart Association. She enjoyed playing golf and bridge, but the sport she enjoyed the most was Bowling. She bowled for many years in Leagues in Jackson and Lexington. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Dick Ayers and brothers Lealon Wyatt and Dr. Max Ray Wyatt.
Survivors include her great-nephews Jerry (Wadene) Pope and David (Sherri) Pope both of Linden, Joel (Lori) Pope of Franklin, Steve Vatalaro of AR and Jeff Vatalaro of Corinth, MS, nieces Jessie Ruth Tiller of Linden, Margaret Wyatt of Little Rock, AR and JoAnn (Mike) Ayers Lynn of Oakland, Tn., a nephew Jim (Janet) Ayers of Nashville and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
