Lanelle Boehms Dodson

Ms. Lanelle Boehms Dodson, 93, of Nashville, formerly of Linden passed away Thursday February 3, 2022 in Nashville, Tennessee. Lanelle was born May 6, 1928 in Little Lot (Hickman County), to the late Mary Jane Nichols Boehms and Herschel H. Boehms. She attended U.T. Martin where she met her husband, Dan. They were married on May 23, 1949, and lived in Linden, Tennessee , where she taught school. They later moved to Nashville, where she was a stay-at-home mother until her children finished school. She then worked for Caldwell-Barnes Real Estate Company as a realtor until retirement. She and Dan then moved back and retired in Linden. Lanelle was a kind and gentle person of faith, who loved spending time with family and friends. All who knew her loved her. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years Kyle Daniel "Dan" Dodson, a son Sammy K. Dodson, and sisters Evelyn Norton, Jane Smith and Wilma Cake.

Survivors include her children John (Jackie) Dodson, Steve (Carol) Dodson, Ann (Donnie Harrison) McMurty, Teresa (Joe) Derrick, and Roger Dodson, 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, a sister Beatrice Jobe, brothers James H. Boehms and Joe Boehms and long-time family member Sharon Dodson and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
