Mr. Lester "Jake" Humphrey, Jr., 81, of Lobelville, TN passed away Wednesday April 28, 2021 surrounded by his family. Jake was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy retiring as Chief Petty officer. He was born to Lester Jake Humphry, Sr. and Margaret Ann Gladhill Humphrey of Iowa. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his "darling" wife, Betty Jo Humphrey and one son, Perry Wayne Whitten.
He leaves behind four children, Lisa (Tommy) Modzelewski, Russell (Kristi) Whitten, Kelly (Don) Madill and Zayne Parker (Eddie).
Our Grandpa Jake also leaves behind his beloved ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. He also leaves Joyce (Leroy) Boyd of Lobelville, TN along with eighteen other nieces and nephews.

While visiting or attending services for Mr. Lester Jake Humphrey, Jr., please consider the following guidelines:

* Maintain 6 feet between yourself and the next closest person;
* Refrain from hugs and handshakes;
* When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth;
* Wash your hands often;
* Avoid touching your face; and
* Minimize time spent in places where people gather.
