Mr. Lonnie Ray Qualls, 79, of Linden, passed away Saturday August 17, 2024 at Maury Regional Medical Center. He was born in Linden to the late Alonzo Thomas and Zelphia Genevieve Duncan Qualls. He was a graduate of Perry County High School and after graduating he went into the National Guard. He worked as a Supervisor at Johnson Controls for several years before working with various electric companies throughout the years. If he wasn't working, he was farming, hunting and fishing. He spent his later life loving his babies and barbecuing hogs.
In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a grandson Garrett Warren, and siblings Hansel Qualls, JW Qualls, Peggy Warren and Rosa Qualls.
Survivors include his children Scott (Tara) Bell, David (Lora) Qualls, Kevin Bunch, Shannon Qualls, Marica Edney, Melissa Warren and Johnny (Sheena) Qualls, grandchildren Julia Bell, Alicia (Jeremy) Hurlbut, Samantha (Johnny) Sipes, Bethany Howell, Lexi Bell, Cody (Erin) Qualls, Colton (Devin) Qualls, Cecil Qualls, Cassie White, Megan (Patrick) Dilday, Nicholas Bunch, Dakota (Lindsey) Graham, Rayvan (Dominic) Wilsdorf, Damien Gilbert, Leyanna Gilbert, Dusty Gilbert, Kelissa (Dalton) Pylant, Marissa (Mitchell) Coble, Delissa Warren, Mackenzie Qualls and Zaden Qualls, 27 great-grandchildren, sisters Jean Hensley, Gretchen Sadler and Judy Peeler, and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
Cremation will follow funeral services.
