Ms. Lucy Inman Smith, 95, of Linden passed away Monday January 4, 2021. She was born in Perry County to the late Addie Inman and Newt Lineberry. She had worked at Washington Manufacturing for 33 years as a Supervisor. After retiring she worked at Linden Elementary School as a Grandparent Mentor. She loved going dancing and working at Monroes Restaurant. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Most of all she loved her family and friends.
In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her step-father Brice Inman, her husband Willie B. Smith, a son Jimmy Brown Smith, a sister Lois Howell and son-in-law Jimmy Monroe.
Survivors include her daughter Peggy Monroe of Linden, daughter-in-law Peggy Westbrooks Smith, grandchildren Renee Monroe, Lynn (Debbie) Monroe, Tracy (Bill) Trotter, Ricky (Cheralyn) Monroe, Tony (Jennifer) Monroe, Jay (Jeannine) Monroe, Mindy (Dylan) Westbrooks, Sheena (Christopher) Gagnon and Travis Smith, 22 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, special companion Red Birdsall and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
While visiting or attending services for Ms. Lucy Inman Smith, please consider the following guidelines:

* Maintain 6 feet between yourself and the next closest person;
* Refrain from hugs and handshakes;
* When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth;
* Wash your hands often;
* Avoid touching your face; and
* Minimize time spent in places where people gather.
