Ms. Lillie Mae Clifton, 100, of Linden, passed away Friday February 14, 2025 at Perry County Nursing Home. She was born in Perry County to the late Claude Samuel Kilpatrick and Elva Roosevelt Comer Kilpatrick. Ms. Mae was retired from Johnson Controls and a member of the Warren-Rockhouse Community Church. After retiring she enjoyed babysitting, loved cooking, sewing and quilting. She also enjoyed tending to her flowers and going to the Buffalo River. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband George Clifton, a grandson Bill Clifton, siblings J.W., Tom, and Hugh Kilpatrick, Ardis Richardson, Claudean Starbuck, Betty June Aldridge and Patricia Bell.
Survivors include her children Jean (Stanley) Qualls of Linden, Dan (Charlotte) Clifton of Jackson, Larry (Linda) Clifton of Linden, and Jan (Johnny) Stafford of Linden, 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, sisters Edna Kidwell of Nashville, Joyce Warren of Linden, Shirley Jean Hensley of Linden, Sandra "Susie" Siglow of Troy and Rita Kilpatrick of Parsons, brothers Wayne (Jane) Kilpatrick of Linden, Franklin "Popcorn" Kilpatrick of Decaturville and Keith "PJ" Kilpatrick of Decaturville, and a host of loving family members and many, many friends.
