Mary "Frankie" Belsha Dotson

Ms. Mary "Frankie" Belsha Dotson, 84, of Linden, passed away Sunday August 3, 2025 at Perry County Nursing Home. She was born in Flatwoods to the late Roy Garner Belsha and Eula Mae Carroll Belsha. She married James Mathis first who passed away on April 23, 1962. She next married David Oscar Dotson. She spent her career working as a nurse. She was passionate about helping others. She enjoyed cooking, fishing and loved a good steak dinner.

In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by both her husbands James Mathis and David Oscar Dotson, a son Robert Mathis, a grandson Paige Mathis, a granddaughter Brandy Mathis and her sister Dorothy Mathis.

Survivors include a son William Mathis (Betsy Day), grandsons Aaron Mathis (Gina) and Zachery Mathis (Chloe Thomas), great-grandson Miles, nieces Sheila (Heath) Daniel and Pam Mathis, great nieces Brooklyn, Brier, Braylee and Hannah and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
