Ms. Michelle Brooks, 51, of Linden, passed away December 4, 2024, suddenly, from injuries after a automobile accident. Michelle was widely known from her years of managing the Dollar General store in Linden. She currently was managing the Family Dollar / Dollar Tree store in Lobelville. In her childhood her family thought of her as tender hearted, due to her sweet sensitivity, and her heart never hardened all throughout her life. The warmth of her soul shone like a star and touched everyone around her.
Michelle showed that strength and kindness could exist in the same person. She always did everything she could to take care of those close to her and she was the best mother her children could ask for. She worked hard to provide for them and make them as happy as she could. Michelle was the most happy when the people she cared about were happy, always ready to help when her loved ones were in a bad situation. She was a rock that you could rely on to anchor yourself when life seemed too overwhelming. she will be dearly missed by those who knew her and the world has become that much less kind with her loss.
Michelle will be lovingly remembered as a dedicated mother, daughter, sister, wife, friend and co-worker. Additionally, her warm, gentle and helpful ways will forever be missed by those who knew of her through many years of retail service. She was a kind and sweet souled individual who spent a lifetime working hard. Michelle did enjoy her time with co-workers and may have been a bit of a mother hen to some of them from time to time. She was an incredibly tough lady who overcame much in life. She was a smart, strong, witty and possessed great integrity. Michelle touched a lot of people in a one of a kind most genuine way. This beautiful remarkable woman taught us so very much.
A private family memorial will take place at a later date.
