Mildred Ramey Hutson

Mrs. Mildred Ramey Hutson, 93, of Linden, passed away July 2, 2020, at Decatur Co. Healthcare.  Mrs. Hutson was born August 29, 1926, in Linden, to the late John Nelson Ramey and Gladys Agnes Whitwell Ramey.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Dewey Turner and Philip Hutson and by two brothers Bill and Nelson Ramey.  Mrs. Hutson was a homemaker and spent a short time working as a beautician.  She enjoyed being a homemaker and supporting her husband Philip during his 20+ years of service in the United States Marines. After his retirement from active duty. they lived in Millington, while he worked in the PX on the Military base.  Survivors include her two sons Ronnie (Linda) Turner of Paris, TN and Dennis Hutson, of Walden, CO.  Three Grandsons Terry (Elaine) Turner of Hohenwald, TN, Kevin Turner of Linden, and Tyler Hutson, of Portland, Maine. One Great Grandson Trace Turner and a sister in law, Mrs. Sue Ramey of Linden.  She will be missed by many other family members and many friends.  Private family memorial services will be held at a later date at Whitwell Methodist Church where she was a member for many years.
