Patsy Lee Elkins

Ms. Patsy Lee Elkins, 84, of Linden, passed away Sunday September 3, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Cedar Grove, Tn. to the late Edgar Thomas Lee and Clyde "Cricket" Newell Condor Lee. She had last worked for Robinson Manufacturing as a sewing machine operator. She graduated from Spring Hill High School in Gibson County. "Pat" as she was known to many enjoyed gardening, doing arts and crafts, especially with buttons, playing Rook, where she was known to have won several tournaments, horseback riding and playing softball in her younger days and watching the St. Louis Cardinals baseball games. Her first job was working at Monroe's Restaurant and she had also worked at Decaturville Sportswear. Patsy had also attended Whitwell United Methodist Church. 

In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband Bobby Edward Elkins, a daughter Patricia Young Jackson, a great-granddaughter Kensley Holder, sons-in-law Walter Jackson and Kenneth Autry, and her brothers and sisters, Robert Ray Lee, Margaret Lee Richardson, Helen Lorene Lee, Dottie Jewel Lee, John William Lee, Charles Edward Lee, James Lavoyd Lee and Dewey Denvil Lee.

Survivors include her children Trevenia "Chigger" Autry of Linden and Bobby "Hoss" (Ashley) Elkins of Decatur County, grandchildren Clint (Sabrina) Young, Misty (Darrin) Holder, Brianna (Andy) Willis, Colton (Leah) Creasey, Lauren Elkins, Grant Autry, Maddie Elkins, Levi Elkins, Noah Elkins, Mickie Jo (Josh) Douglas, Matthew (Ginger) Autry and Candi Ann (Dan) Waggner, 15 great-grandchildren and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
