Rachel Eells Burgess

Ms. Rachel Dee Eells Burgess, 87, of Linden, passed away Sunday October 20, 2024 at Perry County Nursing Home. She was born in Caldwell, Idaho to the late Lewis Eells and Opal Porter Eells. She had last worked at Angelica Corporation in Linden as a sewing machine operator. She was a member of The Followers of Jesus Christ Church. She enjoyed sewing, especially making quilts, playing the piano, reading, playing cards and bingo with her family and going camping. 

In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband David J. Burgess, son Michael Burgess, a daughter Cheryl Burgess, sisters Wilma Buckley, Wanda Wylie, Arlene Lampkey, Euince Wilhite and Darlene Eells and a brother Ted Eells.

Survivors include her son Brad (Rosemary) Burgess of Linden, daughters Cindy (Richard) Skimming of Utah, Tammy (Tony) Duncan of Linden, Janette (Lonnie) Farris of Linden, Julie Degitz of Idaho and Vicky (Janson) Riley of Utah, 10 grandchildren, along with several bonus grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a sister Barbara Kamrud of Idaho, brothers Dallas Eells, Terry Eells and Doyle (Maria) Eells all of Idaho and a host of other loving family members and many friends.
