Randy "Coon Billy" Guillory Obituary

Mr. Randy "Coonbilly" Guillory, 65, of Lobelville, Tn., passed away on Monday January 19, 2026 in Columbia, Mississippi. Randy was born on November 9, 1960, in Lafayette, Louisiana, to Percy Gill Guillory and the late Joann Schambough, Guillory. He spent his childhood years in Eunice, Louisiana, where he formed lifelong roots and friendships. Randy was a proud graduate of Chataignier High School.

Following high school, Randy entered the Oil and Gas Industry as an Operator, eventually becoming a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers. He dedicated his entire working life to the Oil and Gas industry, working for various pipeline contractors. Randy was well known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and the pride he took in providing for his family. When Randy wasn't working on the pipeline, he could almost always be found outdoors. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing, and spending time in the woods. Above all else, he cherished time with his family---especially his grandsons, who were the light of his life. Whether teaching, storytelling, or simply being present. Randy found his greatest joy in making memories with them.

Randy's personality was one of quiet strength, kindness and love. He was a strong and steady presence to those who knew him, always willing to help and always showing up for the people he cared about. He was also known for his humor and his "know-it-all" nature--shared in a way that made everyone laugh and feel at ease. Randy had a way of making people feel welcome, valued and understood.

He is preceded in death by his mother Joann Guillory, a sister Windy Schoeffler and a brother Eric Guillory.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Tiffany Guillory, his two daughters Maegan Guillory and Makayla (Dakota) Holt of Lobelville, Tn., two grandsons Stetson and Sutton Holt, his father Percy Guillory of Eunice, Louisiana, two brothers Allen (Rachel) Guillory of Mamou, Louisiana and Sandy (Marie) Guillory of Eunice, Louisiana, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many lifelong friends.

One of Randy's greatest passions was the outdoors and getting youth involved in hunting and fishing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Buffalo River Youth Hunt Club in Linden, Tennessee. Donations can be made at the Bank of Perry County, payable to the Buffalo River Youth Hunt Club. The account is under Laura Andrews.

Randy "Coonbilly" Guillory will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his love, strength, laughter, and the legacy he leaves behind in his family and all who knew him.
