Rickey Jack Parnell

Mr. Rickey Jack Parnell, 64, of Linden, passed away Sunday August 6, 2023 at Maury Regional Medical Center. He was born in Linden to the late Jack Wilburn Parnell and Ola Victoria Qualls Parnell. He had worked at Graham Lumber for over 40 years as a Fork Lift Driver. Rickey was a graduate of Perry County High School, Class of 1977. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an Elvis fan, but enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren the most. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a grandson Jackson Edward Mercer.

Survivors include his children Shelly (Curt) Mercer of Linden, R.J. (Jennifer) Parnell of Lawrenceburg and Hobie Parnell of Linden, grandchildren Ashlynn, Jake and Cole Mercer and Jack Ellis Parnell, a brother Bobby (Carolyn) Parnell of Linden and a host of other loving family members and many friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home for burial expenses.
