Scotty Strickland

Mr. Scotty Strickland, 44, of Linden, passed away Sunday February 2, 2025. He was born in Columbia to Brenda Ann Miller Strickland Edwards and the late Mark Strickland. He was employed as a Chief Engineer for Southern Devall boat company. Scotty was a graduate of Perry County High School Class of 1998. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, doing carpenter work and could fix almost anything. He also enjoyed cooking and having cookouts.

In addition to his father he is also preceded in death by his grandparents John Ernest and Lucille Strickland and Brodie and Sammie Nell Miller.

Survivors include his wife Brittany Spry Strickland, his children River and Abigail Strickland, his mother Brenda (Aubrey) Edwards of Hohenwald, a sister Leigh Ann (Terry) Tucker of Linden, his mother-in-law Terri Heath and a host of other loving family members and many, many friends.
